@jjanhone Alkuperäisessä tiedotteessa on myös hyviä pätkiä: https://www.numerique.gouv.fr/sinformer/espace-presse/souverainete-numerique-reduction-dependances-extra-europeennes/ (automaattisesti käännettynä)

"Digital sovereignty is not an option, it is a strategic necessity. Europe must equip itself with the means to achieve its ambitions, and France is setting an example by accelerating the shift towards sovereign, interoperable and sustainable solutions. By reducing our dependencies to non-European solutions, the State is sending a clear message: that of a public power which regains control over its technological choices in the service of its digital sovereignty.

        Anne Le Hénanff
minister Delegate in charge of Artificial Intelligence and Digital"

@jjanhone Linuxion siirtymisen luulisi olevan helppo ratkaisi kun lähes kaikki pyörii pilvessä. Liene sama mikä käyttöjärjestelmä loppukäuttäjän koneessa on. Esim. Suse Linux on eurooppalainen yrityskäyttöön viritelty distribuutio. Toisin kuin Fedora/RedHat joka amerikkalainen.

@hesep Mikä nyt open sourcessa on kansallisuuteen sidottua. Tuotteet ja firmat, mutta ei sinällään projektit. Open source kehitys on täysin globaalia.
