@skinnylatte I have used plenty of AI to enhance my writing, but not once have I expected it to form an opinion for me. I generally have to do quite a bit of prompt engineering and I often have to go back and proofread it/edit it anyway.

Over time, I have grown somewhat disillusioned with AI but it can still be a useful tool when used properly. The issue is that people don't know how to use it properly. It definitely does quite a bit of harm to society but some people recognize it as a tool that can enhance their writing, learning, etc. and others replace their critical thinking skills with it.
