Un giorno al voto sulla riforma della giustizia e Nicola Gratteri non smette di far parlare di sé, in negativo. Il procuratore di Napoli infatti, protagonista assoluto del fronte del No e di alcuni clamorosi scivoloni comunicativi, avrebbe nelle ultime ore fatto dietrofront su una delle sue ultime infelici uscite. Il magistrato infatti aveva attirato critiche negli ultimi giorni di campagna elettorale prendendosela con Il Foglio: “Se volete continuare a diffamare e speculare, non è un problema – aveva detto – Poi dopo il referendum tireremo una rete e faremo i conti”.

Oggi però il clamoroso dietrofront. “Ennesima polemica”: nulla di più. Gratteri ha derubricato il tutto a una  boutade politica con il quotidiano, reo di aver sottolineato le sue fake news sui motivi del No, sostenendo persino di non aver mai detto queste parole. Ma il giornale di Claudio Cerasa non ci sta e ha ribattuto colpo su colpo al procuratore. La conversazione infatti tra Gratteri e il direttore del quotidiano è stata registrata e ad un post di X è stata affidata la replica del giornale conservatore che ha messo in un angolo il magistrato.

"Gratteri sostiene di non aver detto 'faremo i conti col Foglio'. Ascoltate l'audio. Un procuratore che non risponde di nulla, nemmeno di ciò che dice": una replica dura, efficace e assolutamente incontrovertibile. Fallito quindi il tentativo di Gratteri di sotterrare l'ennesimo scivolone dopo – solo per citare i più famosi – l'intervista fasulla a Giovanni Falcone e Sal da Vinci sostenitore del No.

Gratteri, another embarrassment: "Will we balance the books? Never said that." But audio emerges.

One day of voting on the justice reform and Nicola Gratteri doesn’t stop making himself talked about, negatively. The Naples prosecutor, the absolute protagonist of the No front and of some sensational communication blunders, would have backed down in the last hours on one of his latest unfortunate statements. The magistrate had attracted criticism in the final days of the election campaign by attacking Il Foglio: “If you want to continue defaming and speculating, it’s not a problem – he said – Then after the referendum we’ll trap you and deal with it.”

Today, however, the sensational backtrack. “Another controversy”: nothing more. Gratteri has downplayed the entire thing as a political joke with the newspaper, guilty of having highlighted his fake news about the reasons for the No, even claiming he had never said these words. But the newspaper of Claudio Cerasa isn't letting it go and has countered blow by blow with the prosecutor. The conversation between Gratteri and the newspaper’s editor was recorded, and a post on X was entrusted with the conservative newspaper’s reply, which has cornered the magistrate.

“Gratteri claims he never said ‘we’ll deal with Il Foglio.’ Listen to the audio. A prosecutor who doesn’t respond to anything, not even what he says”: a hard, effective, and absolutely undeniable reply. Therefore, failed Gratteri’s attempt to bury the latest blunder – to quote some of the most famous ones – the false interview with Giovanni Falcone and Sal da Vinci supporting the No.
