I used to get very mad at people when they explain some “very obvious” thing to me like i’m “stupid”….
Then i see things like the mover mistaking my sculpture stand as the sculpture when I specifically pointed to the sculpture that is clearly on top of the stand saying - “this sculpture is very expensive please pack it well”. I didn’t want to insult anyone by picking it up and pointing to it multiple times… but alas.
… so basically the baseline may be just way lower, so it’s not personal…

@kangaroo5383 i remember realizing at some point that in a room of smart people, there’s always going to be a few people with very specific knowledge gaps in some area, so it’s best to just assume that we’re all at the lowest bar until you get the feel of where everyone’s at.
I’ll often say “sorry if I’m repeating something that you know, I’ll skip ahead if you’ve done this already” to people at work.
Anyways, good luck with your sculptures arriving in a non dust form.
