Yesterday I asked what happens when a diabetic runs out of insulin in the apocalypse. Today I'm flipping the question:

What medication or essential supply would YOU be hunting for if the supply chain broke down tomorrow?

@Harlander I'm on a few things to prevent me having another brain haemorrhage or reduce the damage it does if I do have one, but to be honest I'd rather be dead anyway, so I'm not too bothered at this point. If they wanted to save my life, they should have got an ambulance to me (in central London!) in less than the hour it actually took, which was enough time for me to lose 1/4 of my IQ.

At this point it's mostly just a question of whether another bleed gets me before I get fed up with my shitty life and do it myself.

You put this into words so well. Logging daily can reveal so much about what helps. Better days are ahead.

Sending you good vibes. Journaling symptoms really helped me notice patterns. CareClinic App has been helpful for this. Hope things get better for you soon.

@Harlander Pregabalin. I can last a few days to a week without (involuntarily tested by yours truly) but then it gets *difficult* to move my hands at all and as far as I am aware hands are vital for doing quite a couple of potentially lifesaving things.

@Harlander I've got at least 3---levothyroxine, methotrexate, and Concerta. Probably wouldn't get very far without antihistamines, either. πŸ˜• Ironic, considering I have a pretty good selection of useful skills for a low-resource situation.
