The United States called for reducing harmful CO2 emissions. Hours later, American and Israeli forces attacked Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. Thick black smoke now rises over the city.
Military operations have massive environmental costs that never appear in climate reports. Burning fuel, burning infrastructure, releasing toxins directly into the atmosphere. The contradiction between environmental rhetoric and military reality couldn't be starker.

Just so you know the current government of the US thinks CO2 emissions are just fine, coal is grand and all petroleum is king just as long as they and the fossil fuel industry are making all the big bucks.
So who and when did the US call for reduced CO2?
