When i stopped paying for YouTube premium i started getting ads and i hate ads, so i figured i would set some rules (not sure how relevant it is but i watch on my TV)
1. Nope out of ads for companies i just really really don't like (this is extremely subjective and I'm not very consistent)
2. Nope out of ads that are more than 12 seconds long
3. Try again after a nope, but never more than three times
4. If the third try still sucks block the channel
5. If I've blocked 3 channels stop watching YouTube for a couple hours -

5. If I've blocked 3 channels stop watching YouTube for a couple hoursI blocked several channels that i kind of liked but they were too aggressive with ads and my mind won't tolerate that so I'm actually ok not seeing them anymore.
At this point i haven't even seen 'ad three' in months, so either it's figured out my niche or it's afraid I'll stop watching. Either way I'm happy -
