Yesterday my family celebrated my daughter's birthday by catching a performance of the SpongeBob Musical at the Portland Playhouse and it was an absolute blast.
I can't say enough about how much I love this venue. It's an old Baptist church converted into a ~110 seat venue. It's tiny and cute and cozy and incredibly welcoming.
The show was fun and silly and I'd absolutely see it again.
If you ever get a chance to catch a show at the Portland Playhouse, I highly recommend it. It's such a great little theater. It's a very different experience than seeing a show in a big venue.
