Charge everything up and make sure you have clean water.
1 gallon per person per day
Include pets!!
*Don't use milk or juice containers no matter how well you clean them.

*Don't use milk or juice containers no matter how well you clean them.
And adding to the "charge everything up": if the power goes out for an extended period of time, consider putting the phone in airplane mode. Save that battery for better use than to search for a cell network that isn't there.
You can always turn airplane mode off briefly to see if service is back up.
