Google does have this feature in their predictive text algorithm, as an optional feature in GBoard. Yet more proof that LLMs are garbage, because this actually useful feature doesn't require them at all.

@dgar @ndevenish @resuna @davidgerard As someone who pretty much only knows how to push the power button on a PC (hyperbole), I love how, given proper structure, computer programs can read one another/files and communicate and how nice it is that a company can use it to enable people to quicjly look up colloeagues, their phone number or the organization to see who's in whos team.
And then for one or two weeks the "organization" function of teams and outlook broke and I was basically back to asking everyone if they knew who was responsible for aomething.

Letting area experts who do not know SQL write their own lead-generation scripts against DBs too large to Excel through is one of the two actual value-add business cases I have encountered for LLMs.

The other is basically finding the data columns that can be used for cross-referencing and merging data sets stored in different formats.
