@oliver_schafeld English "gas" ist nicht "Gas" sondern "Treibstoff".

Dass das Gas in den Fahrradreifen nur Gas und kein Treibstoff ist, weil Fahrräder keinen brauchen, wäre der Witz.

@Natasha_Jay True, but one must take it easy on the chick peas to pass the emissions test.

@Natasha_Jay A pizza costs me around 4 dollars, I think, and that'll maybe refuel me for around 50km?

@Natasha_Jay My home town. And if you are going to bike year round here you need snow tires and enough energy for long distances and to get up and down a rather steep river valley on a regular basis (it is basically in the middle of town, great parks and bike trails, but not so easy to get up and down).

@Natasha_Jay The Bill Nye quote still holds "There’s no machine known that is more efficient than a human on a bicycle," ... "Bowl of oatmeal, 30 miles -- you can’t come close to that."

@koen_hufkens @Natasha_Jay I think that an E-Bike is more efficient than a human, but I'm not quite sure.
