    And may I share an ambitious goal with you?

    I want to start advocating for the Louvre Museum to join the Fediverse (they're currently on all Big Tech social platforms only). Let's see what I can do πŸ€—

      @_elena Be sure to point to the Danish National Gallery as an example of a similar institution which already has joined the Fediverse! https://expressional.social/@smk

        I was thinking Fedi's vibe is often more "Judith and Holofernes".
        (as a small preview, that's what I thought the painting was)

                                    @_elena Membership is such great value! I imagine they have plenty of visiting exhibits too so you get to see different works?

                                    Yes... it was suspected norovirus. They wouldn't honor the insurance as we didn't get a doctors note... which we weren't told when we left the site. Oh well.

                                      I couldn't think of a better place where to take a portrait with my new, awesome @Mastodon t-shirt that reads: "I write #AltText" : the Louvre Museum, in front of the painting "The Battle of David and Goliath" by Daniele da Volterra.

                                      I want to start advocating for the Louvre Museum to join the Fediverse (they're currently on all Big Tech social platforms only). Let's see what I can do πŸ€—

                                          @drbenway @Mastodon awesome!

                                          my 5-year-old (who loves her Plushtodons) is a little frustrated there are no Mastodon t-shirts in children's sizes. She would love one πŸ˜…

                                          Pinging @Gargron for this request (I'd promised her I would ask) πŸ€—
