What do they expect when the only one taking returns is the beer store and 1/3 of them closed.
They let the grocery and convince stores sell beer and wine without requiring them to take returns. They undercut the beer store demand so they close.

@maleve Also the amount you get isn't worth the trip. I put any that I might have aside for the guy who comes around on his bicycle. He needs the return more than I do.
