There is a heck of a lot of MoD aircraft activity around here at the moment. Typhoon jets doing day and night training this week and last and now some Texan T1s just went over (according to flight radar). All this activity makes me feel kinda edgy.

a couple of months ago the airspace over my house got completely closed for commercial&private aircraft at around 11 at night for an hour an the airforce did some training above. Ocf no one told the population, so ofc I did not know. So when I was laying in bed and hearing planes (clearly fighterjet-types from the sound of the engines) roaring around I was like "shit are the russians attacking the rest of Europe now?" before calming myself and looking at flightradar.

@helenclayton I would find it unnerving as well - you just have to assume it’s routine training. Must be very disruptive though, particularly at night
