It is the most documented example of a pattern: a Canadian sovereign function (defence, policing, health data, potentially more) is quietly routed through a U.S. platform, under a procurement regime that does not require disclosure at the point of decision, governed by accountability statutes that are internally inconsistent, and embedded deeply enough that reversal is expensive by the time the public learns.

      @TrueNorthSpice and much of what we lose in terms of our identity is NOT recoverable. Damage is done. It will be used against us.

        I see #CIBC is involved with stealing our data for Palantir, so we can let CIBC know our distain by closing accounts and cutting up CIBC Mastercards...
