1/2 Not to be a real Debbie downer about #markcarney’s big announcement in #yellowknife today but a lot of people here are concerned that our economy is just not remotely ready to absorb a meaningful amount of this investment. How much of this work can be handled by existing northern businesses? If we want people to move north to do this work, where are they going to live? How will we grow our tax base to afford to maintain all this new infrastructure in 15-20 years time?
