@alantperry @ChrisMayLA6 while I agree that the number of people who would benefit from adequate support far outweighs the cheaters - it is this group that makes GIS such a hard sell. Personally I see many advantages to it, what is needed to get it accomplished is the concern. Many people problems could be resolved with less costs and more humanity. The transition phase will take be a challenge- the devil is in the details?

@jensorensen A question that somehow nobody asks is who buys the products? With no workers or badly paid ones, we dont need those companies anymore because there is nobody left to buy stuff. How will the share price react on that?

@dfyx @david_chisnall or translation might not be one: I learned of an example today (English -> French where the word "digit" got translated as "chiffre" (numerical digit) instead of "doigt" = "finger" that the original was talking about (in the context of workplace safety).
