    @Amgine Saw an illuminating interview on CBC this morning with a researcher on mass murders. The U.S. (sadly) has a lot of incidents, so a lot of data. Of 203 murderers, 198 (97.5%) identified as male, 4 (2.0%) as women, and 1 (0.5%) as transgender (preferred identity not mentioned). Given that trans people are 1% of the U.S. population, they are under-represented as mass murderers. Women even more so. Men are the problem. No racial data cited, but my money’s on white men over-representing. Not that facts are going to sway bigots from their hate…
