Friend reminded me that it's seed starting time for greens and peppers. She'll be sending me some more seeds too. To ensure I won't have too much of a backlog, I figured I ought to get started. From a seed swap, I already have: Tokyo Berkana (which has been successful in the past, and I'll be on the last of it now), Tango Lettuce, Hon Tsai Tai Flowering Broccoli. I also have some peppers from @grumpy 's last harvest. I've put them in small terracotta pots another friend gave me from her workplace, labeled them with masking tape, and made drip trays with a clamshell container from croissants with some shredded paper for drainage so the pots don't sit in water. To help with humidity, I'm using clear produce bags as tents. Admittedly, i may have spilled a few too many seeds in, so I'll have to be careful to thin them out later.#planting #growing #growYourOwn #plants
