Duchess Bakery sold out of cherry pies very early so I baked a lime pie for pi(e) day yesterday. Slightly modified from this key lime pie recipe (sallysbakingaddiction.com/key-lime-pie/), but had to use regular Mexican limes; still turned out good! #baking #piday

@wx1g I think I've been to the Red Lentil at least once. Veggie Galaxy is still there, or at least it was a few months ago--I went there for a lunch with a few friends when I was up in December.

@ottaross Yeah, they've turned into a real sit-down restaurant for Roberto's Corners which is itself a fantastic Italian sandwich place that used to be (still is?) run out of the back of a gas station on St.Laurent.Still, I was in Toronto last week hanging around Kensington and brought back a pie from Pie in the Sky, there. Sad to say it wasn't in the same league.
