@mwl It is the same with pet lizards.My reptilian companion (whose lizard name is unknowable to us walking heating pads) was named Igor by me, but he's more often than not called Master Chubbyskink.(He's not actually fat, but every healthy adult of his species is supposed to look kinda chunky.)
