Amazon Shop: nicht ganz so easy wie früher, aber bislang habe ich alles was ich kaufen wollte in einheimischen Läden / online stores gefunden3. Audible: meine gekauften Bücher habe ich mit #libation als mp3 auf meine #nextcloud gespeichert und höhre sie jetzt über all mit einem x-beliebigen Media-player. Für neue Hörbücher probiere ich Thalia.

Hab mich im Urlaub dran gemacht um dem #ncdownloader für #Nextcloud ein Update zu verpassen. Ist noch nicht perfekt, aber besser wie das Original des Forks. Das wird seit einem Jahr nicht mehr entwickelt. arrrghh.... I am increasingly frustrated with the amateur circus that is the #nextcloud app ecosystem.I accidentally clicked the "rich text editing" button in the Notes app and it crashed my whole instance. The app is now non-functional offline as well. Since I'm away in Vegas, and didn't expose a remote admin tunnel for the week, now I have to switch to non-synced notes and files for the week.

@newsgroup For files Seafile only. When you need more like cal, card, etc. in one package then there is no alternative to Nextcloud.

rsync took about half an hour at least. Something seriously wrong between my #OpenShift and NFS server.

@burningbecks @gnulinux Ich nehme überall nur den Nextcloud-Desktop-Client, ist auch bei anderen Cloud-Anbietern deutlich schneller und stabiler als die WebDAV-Geschichte.

@freezr @Larvitz I wouldn’t say it broke it. When new DB server is required as dependency then pkg manager shows that previous server will be removed. This is signal for admin to dump/transfer data to new server. It seems that this time user overlooked what pkg manager said it will do.Not sure how it is on other systems but on FreeBSD the package manger is not automagically transfer databases between servers when there is a major DB server update.
