@DavidM_yeg I think it was politics that killed the carbon tax. and I think the minority of people have done the kind of investment that you have done... It's possible to come up with a solution to not punish them in the way you imply. Pointing out also, that anyone who benefited from any government subsidies to retrofit or net zero orient their homes are only the single family detached dwelling owners. Anyone who owns a condo, for eg, was not eligible, nor were multi-family buildings. That needs to be changed. What would you suggest instead?
