Happy Birthday, Max Planck! 168 years ago, #MaxPlanck was born. He is the namesake of the @maxplanckgesellschaft, to which our MPL and MPZPM belong. Awarded the Nobel Prize in #Physics in 1918 for his discovery of energy quanta, he fundamentally changed how we understand the nature of light and matter.
