In the next week or so, shipments of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) will reach their destinations marking the end of supplies from the Middle East now halted by the US/Israeli attack(s) on Iran & the Iranian response.After that (given the damage to LNG facilities in the region of the war), there will be between three to five years of constrained supply & higher prices.Essentially exactly what's needed to drive an accelerated green transition (ironic, huh?)#Iran #LNG #GreenTransition h/t FT

(Though California is at about 2/3rds of grid energy is from renewables)For Malaysia, do you know if that's all energy, or just electric grid energy?The wealthy western countries have a lot of trouble reducing transportation emissions.

@ChrisMayLA6 I think the main output of this project is the lithium that's dissolved in the water and that they will be selling to the battery industry. The power/heat is a bonus
