@rysiek I've been freeloading off GitLab too long. Tried self-hosting their open version of their software so I could pull my repos in-house but I didn't have the patience to sort out undocumented broken containers. This is the motivation I need to migrate everything to Codeberg and send them an ongoing donation to cover costs.GitLab worked well for me but my usage level never justified a paid account. Sad to see them spiral down the AI drain but it's been coming for a while.

I don't really use distributed git nonsense, I have no team. I just need a place to dump a binary & sources, & you can read those sources. I already have a source page on the Cyberhole, but it's VERY simplistic, & wouldn't scale to multiple projects as is.Also, gitlab had one of the most annoying login processes ever. I want to log in once & keep my credentials forever on this machine.

That's exactly why meta-tools are the default mode The LLM doesn't see 1006 tools — it sees 32 domain dispatchers (gitlab_issue, gitlab_mr, gitlab_pipeline…) each routing to the actual op via an 'action' parameter.Full API coverage, ~32 tool definitions of context cost.
