Il gruppo aveva già raggiunto un’intesa con i rappresentanti del Consiglio di fabbrica sulla gestione di 35.000 esuberi nell’ambito di un più ampio piano volto a risparmiare 15 miliardi di euro all’anno. A quei numeri si aggiungono ora ulteriori tagli che riguarderebbero Audi e Porsche, così come dalla sussidiaria software di Volkswagen, Cariad.La casa costruttrice tedesca ha chiuso il 2025 con un utile netto quasi dimezzato a 6,9 miliardi di euro contro i 12,4 miliardi del 2024. Il margine lordo è calato da 59,47 a 51,24 miliardi di euro. La causa del crollo degli utili del 44% è da attribuire ai dazi statunitensi, alla concorrenza cinese e al costoso rinnovamento di Porsche, fa sapere il gruppo. Per Volkswagen si tratta dell’utile più basso dal 2016, quando il gruppo – sulla scia del Dieselgate – dovette affrontare miliardi di dollari in spese una tantum a causa di richiami e problemi legali relativi ai test sulle emissioni.Guarda all’evoluzione delle vendite, Volkswagen fa notare che in Europa gli ordini sono stati in aumento del 13% con un’imponente crescita dei veicoli elettrici (+55%) che sono risultati fondamentali per il volume complessivo. Lo scorso anno, a conti fatti, la quota di veicoli elettrici è stata pari al 22% del totale degli ordini del gruppo. Per l’anno in corso Volkswagen prevede di aumentare le proprie vendite fino al 3%, con un ritorno operativo sulle vendite compreso tra il 4 a il 5,5%.
