When I tell people what we paid for electricity over the last year (about £1500) they’re astounded how cheap our heat pump is to run. Then I point out that includes driving around 10,000 miles and all our cooking.I was able to say this to a guy who popped round for some free concrete blocks and asked about the heat pump. Fair to say he was aghast…. Given what he’d just been quoted for a tank of heating oil. #heatpump #oilprice #domesticenergy #solar
