Feeling these exact pains.A thing that frustrates me was when a bunch of them reached a break point with Facebook, they said "Im thinking of switching to Discord or Bluesky". And I warned them that for profit platforms are doomed to Fascittify. And now here we are with both of those Fascittifying exactly as predicted. And now they complain that to open source alternatives are too janky, and they're exploring yet another for profit alternative. I will take Janky over Technofascist ANY day.People rave about the Star Wars show Andor, but it should have included a scene of characters going "Ugh, the Rebel Alliance system is so buggy. You can't expect me to give up all my followers and subs on Darth Vader's ForceChokeTube. Sure it force chokes me each time I use it, but you just can't beat its smooth UX and reach!"
