@mlanger missed the original toot. This happened to me in Seattle with a rental but since I booked from Europe they couldn’t screw me and I got lucky.Was my usual confrontation averse self and let them swindle me with a horrible gmc which luckily instantly got a flat tire on the exit from the airport and then the car return guys at the airport (different desk) got me a nice ford instead.
