On a whim, in June 2021 I wrote to a publisher about an advertised Lord Dunsany translation project of theirs that had stalled, and which I offered to take over.I had no idea that less than five years later, one of my most realistic paths for a professional way forward and some kind of recognition would come out of that contact.
