We went for a drive along the #BRP west of #Asheville today, and it was one of our best ever. While 72F and overcast at home (2160') by the time we got to our favorite Roy Taylor Overlook (5580') it was a gorgeous blue sky, quite windy and 60F.I thought we'd be seeing fully leafed-out trees, but at this elevation most of the trees had just barely begun, a good month-plus behind ours.It was like Second Spring, and absolutely beautiful. This is one of my favorite spots, and the tourists today just swooped through the parking area, and never got out to go look at the overlook. #Spring
