@cub80_appleby There's a few things I already did, that I didn't need a head doctor to decide. I forget the details but there's one box breathing exercise, slow full deep breath, hold, hold hold, exhale slow completely, hold hold hold, repeat. That's calming. PTSD Hot-Cold therapy, to change your perception, like hot water bottle, ice pack, extremes of senses. Hug a warm cat. And another that involves thinking of something to go with all five senses for five seconds. Smelling ice creamSeeing ice creamTouching cold ice creamTasting cold ice creamHaring cold ice cream run off your cone and splash on your lap Those exercises helped me a lot, with or without the ice cream. It's more important to find a way to use all five senses, because the distraction will take the tension out of your body that has gone out of control on you. Exercise. Physion in my case, but it works the body and makes it tired and you fall asleep faster. The head doctor wasn't my choice. He came with the PTSD Veteran's Claim
