Thank you, @SpinBall! Those items look really impressive! I appreciate it. Recently, Thad—whom you can find at @Thad —mentioned the repair webpage dedicated to the D-pad. Upon examining the information presented there, I noticed that the product is manufactured in China. It’s quite disappointing to realize that the original parts from the 1990s are no longer available. Sadly, it seems unlikely that we'll ever see those authentic components again. Many of the classic companies that used to dominate the gaming industry have faded away over time. This decline is particularly notable since Sammy Holdings acquired both the Sonic Team from the late 1990s and the console creation team after the gaming market began shifting. Consequently, these original creators no longer produce consoles or game pads as they once did, which is truly a shame for nostalgic gamers like myself who cherish the legacy of those early gaming experiences. The unique quality and charm of the original parts made from that golden era are irreplaceable, and their absence is felt keenly in today's gaming landscape.
