@Nonilex I was with a friend who ran out of meds while on a road trip... The first day was headaches, and we tried to find a pharmacy that had her meds in stock while travelling in northern Ontario, with no luck. The second day was 'the zaps' which were described as 'electric shocks in my brain'. We managed to get in touch with the prescribing doctor, whose office sent the prescription to a pharmacy in the town we'd get to in about 18 more hours. The headache had turned into a migraine at this point, and regular pain meds were only barely doing their job. After arriving at the pharmacy before opening hours, I bought a bottle of water and more pain meds, they got their prescription refilled, and had a dose right there at the pharmacist's counter. We ended up staying an extra day in that town while the meds kicked in and the symptoms subsided. It was scary as fuck to witness, I don't want to imagine what it's like going through that.
