@DaveMWilburn "Republican voters choose the most vile politicians out of sheer spite and vindictiveness, driven by their own insecurities" Yes. They are bad people and it's no deeper than that. And if they try to pretend to make it about some elevated "policy," well POSIWID, their policies all are designed to inflict suffering.

I saw a few uncouth signs at the protest today which I always find surprising hereabouts but at one point this girl, maybe 20yrs old max (?) with multicolored hair, many piercings, the wackiest clothes (too hard to describe), and a huge smile walked by with a sign that said "LICK MY ASSHOLE TRUMP" and I busted out laughing so hard I had to bend over to breathe
