@jerrej Well yes, Linux distros usually include the Gtk/Qt integration too, so the old-looking VCL interface should hardly ever come up. That's why there's no need to update it. But yes, there is an argument that when the desktop integration package is missing, LibreOffice should alert the user (while showing the old-looking VCL interface).

I just can't get over how enjoyable it is to edit a podcast in @ardour. It's not merely comparable to Apple Logic Pro…it's *better*. I've never been able to get a clean transition from the ending syllable of one clip to the beginning syllable of the next clip as *quickly* as this, making editing out mistakes super smooth.I also saved a previous recording session as a "session template", allowing me to spin up new podcast audio setups with the push of a button.I am LOVING this.
