AI is more than just a tech issue, it is a Public Health issue as the data centers water use, heat generation and pollution damage ecosystems and cause health issues.
Mental health comes into play as people get addicted to talking to AI chatbots or become dependent upon them for answers rather than seeking them.
Reminder that, despite my now being a Public Health advocate and PA-S, I have worked in Information Technology for most of my career. The harmful effects of AI FAR outweigh the benefits.
