Commercial users who pay at least 25K/year to OpenSSL already, complain that we don't feed their business for free as we no longer support OpenSSL v1 in the vanilla curl release.

OpenSSL v1 is not available (updated) anymore without paying for it. Why would we serve obviously strictly commercial interests without getting paid?
So, up-to-date curl with support for OpenSSL v1 is only available for paying customers. You can become one right now!

@bagder good choice. Hopefully they’ll just whine a bit but pay. Curl is worth every penny

@bagder that's wild, easier to just keep paying than change anything. I know orgs that still run deprecated tech for that reason, it's wild.
Though, TBH, I'm shocked they're paying for it instead of just, ya know, doing whatever they want

I've rediscovered that with automated teller machines ATM
All of them, literally all ATMs in a radius of about 800 km run win7!

@Radio_Azureus @christoff @bagder wow, not the win3.11 any longer? That's a huge leap for mankind.

@Radio_Azureus @christoff @bagder I had to get a passport photo last week, it was still running XP Embedded, and BSoD'd on me.
