No seriously. I even caught it on my phone. A human would have guessed the kid needed more room and turning *behind* an oncoming car was just wild

@mathowie I took my first Waymo a few weeks ago and twice! the car slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting someone on a moped flying out from behind a truck.

I’m not sure a human would have reacted as quickly.

@mathowie that “behind oncoming vehicle” is something i see in San Francisco all of the time.

I’m a bit of an immigrant snob. Yes, I came to live in the states but I learned to drive in Canada and the way basically anyone can get their license down here is bonkers. I see that kinda driving every week 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
