@fesshole It's not always that clear-cut. My mom took up painting and gifted me one of her more abstract paintings, and when she next visited we found that I had hung it sideways, because that way it made more sense to me than the way she had painted it...

@fesshole This post reminds me of some utterly insane modern art hung in the common areas of an office building I used to be forced to visit. We used to call this one The Death of Love.
