in the end where claude gives him an answer on moratoriums that he doesn’t like, so he pushes back and it gives him the answer he wants is a pretty pure example of the reinforcement bias and sycophancy we talk about with chatbots, but you get the impression he convinced claude he was actually right

data centers are necessary for our digital world, but need to be done sustainably with respect for the environs and the people who live there, not just in whatever place is cheapest/has the least regulations.
and especially not now when it's being done recklessly to power a dangerous bubble

@parismarx It seemed like some of the point of this was to show the reinforcement bias and sycophancy. I do think he should have had an introduction and/or post-conversation analysis to explain his purpose and rational behind doing this.

@parismarx someone really needs to inoculate him against the tech industry's various manipulation and framing tactics. he's been directionally correct but rhetorically all over the place and actually out of touch with how tons of regular people think about these issues.
