UPDATE: My supervisor approached me to ask if I knew a way to make their automatically generated PDF reports not look like ass...and well... I do happen to know of this little tool called... LaTeX...

    LaTeX wins by accident!

As the only programmer at the "tech" company, with which piece of tech should I curse the company I work for to confuse the hell out of the next dev they hire?

@astra_underscore@wetdry.world I voted Forth, but honestly I'd probably go for a custom DSL. ^^ I recently heard a story about someone who built a custom setup for deployment automation that used git branches to determine which action to execute next.

@sigmasternchen @astra_underscore You could cross the streams of Forth, a custom DSL, *and* Perl, by going with a Forth-like custom DSL implemented in Raku, which used to be called Perl 6 (before it changed into a meta-language for writing DSLs). Re-implement a git client inside Raku for maximum lulz. No, wait, that already exists—

@astra_underscore that? Is beautiful! Oh! Using a very specific, hardcoded devorak keyboard for feet

@ware the point of this is to make it as painful as possible for the next guy because I'm not being paid.

@astra_underscore groff, you can make printed things with it, like LaTeX & the syntax is even more arcane

@patterfloof I would have used it because I'd have to use it through WSL which would add to the !FUN! factor, but unfortunately, they want fancy stuff that I am unsure I can pull off in groff
