does anyone know what i'm talking about please:
one of our cats* stole my watch — which is my ecg, o2 sensor, and heart rate monitor — from its hangy place last night while i was in the shower and dragged it around (including down three tile stairs). the screen now has a small crack in it, and as replacing the screen will cost more than an as-new, second-hand** replacement watch
, i'm trying to repair it. husband is sure that there's some kind of glue that will go into cracks in glass and fill them invisibly. he says it's wetter than water and just spreads out where it needs to be when applied. have you heard of this?
if anyone could help with this, that would be amazing.

edited: he's not thinking of windscreen repair stuff: this was for devices and/or normal glass ...
@moonrabbit Oh good luck. I hope you can find the glue. Also they do sell screen protectors for the watch, I have one on mine because I am the spasticity queen. I hope you can repair it though.

thank you. the crack is super tiny; husband's looked with his otoscope (as you do!) and thinks it hasn't actually gone through the glass, so maybe a protector would keep it from getting worse? i'll have a look.how are you all today? i hope it's a good day!

thank you so much! husband has had a good look with his otoscope (as you do!) and thinks the crack isn't actually all the way through the glass, so it would just be filling in a deep scratch i guess? it's on an edge though so could spread, presumably, with another impact.tyvm.

thank you. the stuff he's thinking of is thinner than that, but along the same lines. the crack is right at the edge, so theoretically not somewhere i touch?tyvm again.

@moonrabbit @NormanDunbar @MelissaBearTrix if it's the stuff I've used in the past, it cures with UV but I can't remember its name or find it again! Maybe that will help someone remember, though. Frighteningly expensive for a small tube but probably cheaper than a new device.

@moonrabbit Last time I asked in a smartphone shop they told me, that they don't sell and use this glue anymore. Instead they only change the glass of the smartphones. I'm afraid, it might be difficult to still get that stuff.
