@vwdasher Owner reports, mostly. Also in the Chinese press, BYD quality is a joke. Geely products like Volvo and Polestar have been pretty good.

At the far end there were some classics parked up, a bit of filler to make it look bigger? This show had stopped quite some years back, and only returned last year. A lot of big makes were not there.

Yeah, that would make sense, & cost nothing.
I don't think many buyers would care.
Probably my own biases showing—I'd be happy with a 4 seater, so everyone must be.

@Basmitharts I have no idea. It would be incredibly expensive to make them legal due to the engineering requirements involved so I am doubtful but I am no expert if there's a scene or not.

Showing me the 30 year old product should make me go "wow we used to live like this?" but it just makes me go "this new stuff seems worse and the more appealing product is from a bygone era.
And I'm talking about a god damn Honda prelude.

There were new Chinese brands there I've never heard of. We have over 90 brands for sale here, it's a lot to keep track of.

Hotwheels had a display that must have been good, a massive queue had formed. Hopefully the kids got something for free and not just gouged for some product.
BYD had a big stand and no wonder, they are selling bucketloads. They had the Atto 1 there, their cheapest EV. $24K will get you one.
