        @jackwilliambell @cstross huh, you said things I often wonder about for last few years... I was always social outcast as a nerd and never could "feel" mainstream social media. Then I realized these portals are just incredibly magnified phenomena from big parts of society, the same which made me choose rather solitary life. And most of this is exactly: They want to play this power game, which is so rigged, unfair and nonsense at the same time, I just couldn't pretend any more I care of this at all. And refusing it is really only one sensible choice.
