@F100 Which highlights a vitally important message in wartime: always leave your enemy's leaders an avenue of retreat if they want to abandon the war, otherwise they'll fight like rats in a trap.
Putin screwed the pooch in Ukraine by trying repeatedly to assassinate Zelensky (and other leaders), and mostly failing (as well as failing to win in the first 72 hours).
And 50 years of violent rhetoric makes it impossible for the Iranian regime to surrender.
