#ScribesAndMakers 12 Our featured creator has an em dash key on his keyboard. Do you do any customizations for your creativity?

My main working computer is a Framework 16 with the touchpad disabled at OS level and a Logitech wireless mouse installed. They don't seem to offer an option to eliminate the touchpad entirely when configuring the machine, which I would have preferred, but this is close enough.

There's a sense in which my whole house is customized (and cost accordingly <sigh>).

One house customization that directly affects creativity is a large kitchen island at table height, NOT counter height. I'm short enough that makes a big difference for kneading bread and other tasks where leverage matters. (It counts as part of the age-in-place-ready design, along with 36 inch wide doorways throughout and a huge ADA compliant shower stall.)

Note: if you want a table height island, use 'vanity-height' stock cabinets, not counter-height ones.
