#WritersCoffeeClub Mar. 7 – What have you given up in order to write?

Nothing. I spent 4 years studying subjects like history, archaeology and a bit of politics and religion for world building ideas (far more interesting then studying teaching for four years!), then did my Dip Ed and started a teaching career to pay bills.

Writing fit into the time and energy I had left, be it Sunday afternoons or even only school holidays. Writing is how I want to spend time that aligns with my brain working

@ElisesWritings then implies doing something after something else- than is a comparison between two things. Being a good teacher allows you to write new chapters in others lives as well as your own.
