@structuredsucc hehe, I love this idea.

PHP does in fact rock. It's way more capable than a lot of people give it credit for.

@structuredsucc you can motivate plant growth by redirecting where the sap flows. This is why cutting branches off a tree (and other plants) can make the remaining branches stronger and yield more fruit in many case.

But did you know that you can also do it more subtly, not by cutting off everything above, but by making a small incision in the bark just above where the branch meets the trunk or main branch it branches off from? Fascinating.

@structuredsucc LLMs actually produce decent results if you take the time to code all the determistic tasks away from it. But that requires humans and the capitalist task masters are not interested in that.

@structuredsucc Crochet is one stick, knitting is two or more. And the fabrics only look alike when you go out of your way to make them similar. It's not hard to tell them apart.

@structuredsucc Ok but I won’t be held responsible for any back-and-forth that happens in the aftermath.

The Shawshank Redemption is perhaps the most overrated film I’ve ever seen. It’s good but greatest of all time? Nah! 😒

@lizzard @structuredsucc sure distributive justice asks the question "how should resources be allocated for a just society", corrective justice asks "how do we address wrongs done to a person and have them be in the position that they would be, had the wrong not been done". People treat disability as a question of the former (eg. Amartya Sen's need-based allocation of resources). But disablement is a wrong (social barriers to inclusion) that needs correction, making it the latter.

@structuredsucc Moon phases and rise/set times are really tightly correlated, so eg: a first quarter moon always rises around noon, is overhead at around sunset, and sets at around midnight.

@c0debabe I haven’t used it seriously in years so I don’t know all the new features, but for tiny one page things that don’t need frameworks or routing or all the other scaffolding I haven’t seen anything that can beat it
